Sunset Pic of NASA: Sharing this picture, NASA wrote in the caption, “A blue sunset on the Red Planet. Our Perseverance Mars rover has taken its first picture of the sunset.” According to NASA’s post, this picture was taken by the Mastcam-Z camera system on 9 November 2021. The image of the Sunset of Mars has been captured on the 257th day of the mission.

NASA scientists, who have been searching for life on Mars for a long time, have shared a picture on Instagram (NASA Share Sunset pic of Mars). Looking at the picture of the sun sinking between the stones looking like white ruddy clouds, mountains, it is difficult to even guess that this is a picture of the planet Mars, not Earth.

Sharing this picture, NASA wrote in the caption, “A blue sunset on the Red Planet. Our Perseverance Mars rover has taken its first ever sunset photo.” According to NASA’s post, this picture was taken by the Mastcam-Z camera system on 9 November 2021. The sunset image of Mars was captured on the 257th day of the mission.

NASA scientists say that this is the first photo of sunset from Mars. NASA has revealed that sunset observations on the Red Planet have been going on since the 1970s.

“Mars’ sunsets typically appear their characteristic blue hues, which result from the dust in the atmosphere,” NASA said.
