New Delhi: The Supreme Court has dismissed a public interest litigation related to the removal of 26 verses from the Quran. Along with this, a fine of 50 thousand rupees has also been imposed on the petitioner. Former Shia Waqf Board Chairman Waseem Rizvi had filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) and demanded from the Supreme Court that 26 verses of Quran Sharif be removed. According to Rizvi, these special verses are making humans violent and teaching terrorism.
A bench of Justice Fali Nariman, Justice BR Gavai and Justice Hrishikesh Roy heard the case. The court rejected the petition and said that it is indeed a trivial petition. The petitioner had described those 26 verses of the Quran as a threat to the integrity of the country and argued that terrorists are being made into madrasas by training them.
In the petition, Wasim Rizvi claimed that people of the world are made terrorists by quoting these verses. Following the petition of Wasim Rizvi, an Islamic conference in which the Shia and the Sunni community of Ulama were involved in the past, Rizvi was rejected from Islam and a decree was issued that no Rizvi would be buried in any Crabistan of Mulk. will be given.
Wasim Rizvi is currently underground. He said that the family has left me, his wife, children and brothers have all left together. His brother released the video and said that the family is not related to Wasim. They do not come, they have become anti-Islam and what they are saying has nothing to do with the family.
