This scheme has been started by the National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC), the objective of which is to make poor women of backward classes self-reliant.
Under this scheme, the government is giving a maximum loan of Rs 2 lakh to women with annual family income up to Rs 3 lakh. The government is charging 5 percent interest annually on this loan, which is much lower than the normal interest rate. You will have to pay the EMI of this loan every three months instead of every month.
