Snatching with stolen bike, police caught tracing bike
Instead of pursuing higher education and creating a bright future, two youths went on the path of crime. The serious addiction to cricket betting first plunged the two into debt. Both took the path of crime to become debt free. In the case of chain snatching, the Rander police have arrested two accused, one of whom is an actor of TV serials and the other is a builder.
The accused named Miraj has played minor roles in many serials including Tarak Mehta’s Overseas Chashma. According to the police, a team of the Rander police arrested the accused Vaibhav Babu Jadav and Miraj Vallabhadas Kapri (both natives Junagadh) by cordoning off the area near the Rander Bhesan intersection on the basis of secret information received from the informer.
The goods worth 3 lakh 54 thousand 500 rupees have been recovered from the accused including 3 gold chains, two mobiles and stolen bikes. With this, two cases filed against the accused in the Rander police station, one each filed in Mahidharpura and Udhna police stations – the case was solved.
The accused have confessed that they were owed 25 to 30 lakh rupees in betting bets. Police said that the accused used to take the stolen bike and targeted the lonely old women on the road and ran away by snatching the chain with a pounce on their neck.
12 cases of this type have been registered against accused Vaibhav Jadav in different police stations including Junagadh, Ahmedabad, Rajkot Bhakti Nagar, Veraval, Keshod. Police said that the accused was caught by tracing the same bike he used to snatch.

Both the accused were studying together in Junagadh. He was addicted to betting right there. Both knew each other. Vaibhav started snatching chains many years ago. Both had lost a lot of money in cricket betting. When both had nothing left, they started snatching together to repay the debt.
Vaibhav had his experience so snatching suits him. Vaibhav Jadav is a BSc Chemistry while Miraj studied BCom. Police Inspector JP Jadeja said that accused Miraj always talked to Vaibhav.
Planned snatching to repay the debt and called Vaibhav to Surat. They also bet and lost by snatching money. Both of them have confessed that even if someone gives them 1000 rupees, then they too will play speculatively.
Acting in many serials
Accused Miraj has worked in serials like Tarak Mehta’s Overseas Chashma, Thapki, Samyukta, Mere Angane Mein. Mirage, a native of Junagadh, is a TV artist in Mumbai. He has played minor roles in some TV serials, including Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
At the same time, he also works as a fitness trainer. Miraj Kapri is a resident of Mahada based in Andheri, Mumbai, he is a struggling actor, till now he has played various roles in many TV serials. But after becoming a betting addict, he spoiled his future. In the police interrogation, the accused confessed to snatching a motorcycle and three women’s chains in Rander, Udhna, Mahidharpura in the last few days.
