Mobile recharge plans have increased recently
In July, Reliance Jio increased its tariff between 12% to 25%. Soon after Jio, Bharti Airtel increased its tariff by 11% to 21%. A day after these two companies, on July 4, 2024, Vi increased mobile tariffs by 10-23%. Customers have distanced themselves from Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea due to expensive recharge plans. Also, they are looking at BSNL as an option.
Vodafone-Idea 5G network will be rolled out across the country
Vi has made a big deal with Samsung, Nokia and Ericsson, under which the 4G network will be expanded in the next three years. Also, 5G network will be rolled out. Mundra said that the delivery of 4G and 5G equipment will start soon. He informed that Vodafone-Idea has got 5G spectrum in 17 circles. In such a situation, VI will launch 5G in all circles.
