Tata group extends help in oxygen crisis, PM Modi praises

The Tata group has taken the initiative to address the lack of oxygen in the country. The Tata group will import 24 cryogenic containers to carry liquid oxygen as well as help to overcome the oxygen shortage in the country.




New Delhi In the country, cases of Kovid-19 infection are creating new records every day and there are reports of lack of oxygen for the treatment of its serious patients. Meanwhile, the country’s largest industrial conglomerate Tata Group has extended a helping hand in this hour of crisis. The Tata group will import 24 cryogenic containers to carry liquid oxygen as well as help to overcome the oxygen shortage in the country.

The Tata group said in a social media post, “The Tata group is importing 24 cryogenic containers for the transport of liquid oxygen and helping to reduce the oxygen shortage in the country.” To mitigate the oxygen crisis Cryogenic containers are being imported through chartered flights. Cryogenic containers are also called liquid cylinders. It is double-walled vacuum vessels that have multilayer insulation in the annular space. They are specially designed for transportation and storage of liquid gas.

Have helped before
Even before this, the Tata group has extended a helping hand in fighting Corona. During the first wave of the epidemic last year, the Tata group provided ventilators, personal protective equipment (PPE) kits, masks, gloves and test kits. The group promised Rs 1,500 crore to combat the corona virus epidemic.

Modi praised
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation on Tuesday called for all stakeholders including the pharmaceutical industry to collectively deal with the lack of oxygen. Also said that measures are being taken at many levels to increase oxygen production and supply. Modi, meanwhile, praised the Tata group’s move as welcoming. He also said that together the people of India will fight the corona epidemic.

Acute oxygen shortage
Meanwhile, there are reports of lack of oxygen in many states of the country including the capital Delhi. There have been 295041 cases of corona in the last 24 hours in the country, which is the highest number of cases reported in a single day so far. Due to this, there has been a huge shortage of oxygen in many states of the country including the capital Delhi. Many hospitals in the capital have only 3 hours of stock. Some hospitals have only one day of stock.
