This decision was taken by Vice Chancellor Prof. in North Hall on Saturday. Taken in the Executive Council meeting chaired by Sangeeta Srivastava. PRO Prof. Jaya Kapoor said that under this, more than one thousand teachers and employees of universities and colleges will be benefited. This decision has been taken in accordance with UGC. Earlier, there was no provision for gratuity for those joining the new pension scheme.
In the meeting, it was agreed to confirm the service of 25 teachers of CBCS, Statistics, Psychology for two years and 269 non-teaching staff after completing their probation period of one year. At the same time, the change in the honorarium for examination related work, proposed by the Examination Committee and passed by the Academic Council, was approved. Now honorarium will be given at increased rates. On the other hand, the PRO said that the decision to issue show cause notice to Dr. Deepshikha Sonkar in the case of filing a baseless case was taken in the meeting. Registrar Prof. NK Shukla and Dr. Deepali Pant Joshi presented flowers to the Vice Chancellor.
