Last month, TRAI had asked telecom operators to launch recharge plans focused only on calling and SMS. After the authority’s order, telecom companies have finally launched plans with only calling and SMS. You will not get data benefits in these plans.
If you want recharge only for calling and SMS, then the companies have given you cheap options. Jio, Airtel and Vi have all launched cheap plans for you. Let’s know the details of the cheap plans of these telecom companies.
Jio has added two recharge plans. One of these comes with a validity of 84 days, while the other one comes with a validity of one year i.e. 365 days. The company’s first plan comes for Rs 458. In this, you will get 84 days of service, in which you will get unlimited calls and SMS.
The second plan is for Rs 1958. In this, you will get unlimited calling and 3600 SMS for one year i.e. 365 days. You will not get data in both the plans. Keep in mind that the company has removed the cheap value plans.
Airtel has introduced four new plans, two of which are just for calling and SMS. While the other two come with data. For Rs 499, the company is offering unlimited calling and 900 SMS for a validity of 84 days. For Rs 548, you will get unlimited calling, 900 SMS and 7GB data for 84 days.
In the Rs 1959 plan, users get unlimited calling and 3600 SMS for a validity of 365 days. In the Rs 2249 plan, the company offers 30GB data, unlimited calling and 3600 SMS. This plan comes with a validity of 365 days i.e. one year.
Vi has launched only one plan. The company has launched a recharge plan of Rs 1460, which comes with a validity of 270 days. That means you will get a validity of about 9 months in this. During this time you will be able to make unlimited calls and 100 SMS.
