Terrorist Ariz Khan hanged, court told the rarest of rare case

Batla House encounter: In the Batla House encounter case, Delhi’s Saket court sentenced Indian Mujahideen terrorist Ariz Khan to death. Additional Sessions Judge Sandeep Yadav sentenced. The court gave its verdict, considering it as the rarest of the rare case.

Earlier, the court had reserved the verdict on Arise’s sentence till 4 pm. The police had requested the court to sentence Ariz Khan to death in the case of the murder of Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma. In the previous hearing, the court convicted him. Ariz Khan was arrested by Delhi Police in 2018.

The court convicted Ariz Khan under the Arms Act and sections 302, 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Ariz was absconding since the 2008 Batla House encounter case and was arrested from Nepal in 2018.

Terrorist Ariz Khan has been convicted for the murder of Inspector Mohan Sharma, who lost his life in the Batla House encounter. At the same time, Ariz also tried to kill the policeman Balwant Singh-Rajveer.

Blaming Adalan Ariz, the investigating officers were instructed to inform the court about the financial condition of Aris’s family.
