The Supreme Court had constituted a three-member committee on new agricultural laws. The committee has submitted its report on three new agricultural laws. This report submitted in a sealed envelope will be heard in the Supreme Court on 5 April. However, it is not yet known what recommendations have been made in it.

Anil Ghanwat, a three-member committee member and agricultural economist, said the report was submitted to the Supreme Court on March 19 in a sealed envelope. Explain that the committee was given time till March 20 to submit the report from the Supreme Court.

The committee appointed by the Supreme Court consists of agriculture experts and Anil Dhanwat, Ashok Gulati and Pramod Joshi associated with Shetkari organizations. The committee was constituted by the Supreme Court on 11 January. Apart from Dhanwat, agricultural economists Ashok Gulati and Pramod Kumar Joshi are the other members of the committee.

Farmer leader Bhupinder Singh Mann was also made a member of it, but he withdrew his name. Farmers’ organizations are opposing this committee. He says that its members have already supported the agricultural laws. Later, the court added him to the committee.

Explain that since November last year, farmers’ organizations have been demonstrating against the new agricultural laws. Farmers are camping at different borders in Delhi and are adamant on the demand for withdrawal of all three agricultural laws and legislation on MSP. Due to the performance of the farmers, the Supreme Court had formed the first four-member committee, out of the four-member committee, the farmer leader Bhupinder Singh Mann was separated. After this, the committee became three-member. The people of this committee held talks with different farmer organizations of the country.
