A TikToker, who is also an MD candidate, took to social media to share how children look in their MRI reports. While conventional ultrasound gives two-size images of the fetus, MRI images come in three dimensions, which Internet users say can sometimes look scary and strange.
In the video posted on social media, he says, “One of you asked if we show pregnant women their MRI reports? I don’t think any pregnant mother would want to see it.” The MD candidate points to a detailed picture of a baby in utero in the viral video with its eyes wide open and the entire brain visible. He adds, First of all , I don’t know how I would explain this to an expectant mother secondly I don’t think any expecting mother wants to know what their baby looks like.

One of the social media users compared the MRI photos to 1990s sitcom artist Mr. Bean. Others even compared it to “rosemary baby”. Someone even called it the weirdest and funniest thing in docility”. One wrote “Wow, I knew there was an alien inside me.
