Call toll free number
If your SBI debit card is lost, you can block it by calling the bank’s toll free number 1800 112 211 or 1800 425 3800. You can block by putting your card details on the call.
Apart from this, one can apply for a new card by calling the toll-free IVR system. A few days after applying, a new debit card will be issued after verification, which you will get at your registered address.
Block through net banking
First of all log in to the bank’s official website www.onlinesbi.com. Under ‘ATM Services’ in the ‘E Services’ tab, select ‘Block ATM Card’. Select the account which is linked to the debit card. All active and blocked cards will appear. You will see the first 4 and last 4 digits of the card. With the card you want to block, select the reason for blocking the card. The reason can be selected from the dropdown menu. Then click on ‘submit’.
