Canada, UAE, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Oman, Hong Kong, France, USA and United Kingdom have banned flight services from India.
These countries fear that the rapidly spreading corona virus epidemic in India may also become a problem in them. The UK and Hong Kong have also raised concerns about mutant variants from India. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are a total of 24,28,616 active cases in the country till 8 am Friday.
What would happen if you had booked tickets for these countries too
These countries have banned travel ban from India with a grace period. Like UAE has banned Dubai’s local time on Saturday, April 24 at 12 pm. If any passenger has booked flight tickets for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjahan etc. after this date, they will have to contact the airline companies.
IndiGo, SpiceJet, Air India, Air India Express, Emirates, Etihad, Flydubai, Air Arabia Airlines offer their services to Dubai. Some airlines say that passengers who have already booked flight tickets for the duration of the ban, their tickets will be rescheduled after the ban is lifted.
What if I have booked a ticket to come to India from these countries?
These countries have banned flight services from India to their destinations. There is no restriction on coming to India.
