India’s Most Valuable Celebrity: With a brand value of $237.7 Million, Virat Kohli Remains India’s Most Valuable Celebrity for the fourth consecutive year, reveals Duff & Phelps Celebrity Brand Valuation Study. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar with a brand value of $118.9 Million is distant number two in this India’s Most Valuable Celebrity followed by his B’town colleague Ranveer Singh whose brand value is at $102.9 Million. Ironically, if we compare Virat Kohli’s brand value with Shah Rukh Khan ($51.1 Million), it is more than four times of the brand value of Bollywood Badshah.
Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone is found India’s Most Valuable Female Celebrity as she is at number five spot with $50.4 Million brand value. Apart from Virat Kohli; Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan are the only Indian celebrities who are above her in the top 10 Most valuable Celebrities in India. Deepika Padukone is closely followed by Alia Bhatt at number six spot with $48.0 Million brand value. Ayushmann Khurrana is at combined 6th spot with Alia Bhatt with $48.0 Million brand value.
Interestingly, Bollywood ‘Bhai’ Salman Khan is at 8th spot with a brand value of $45 Million. Big B Amitabh Bachcha is at 9th spot with a brand value of $44.2 Million while Hrithik Roshan is at 10th spot with $39.4 Million brand value.Source: Duff & Phelps
