Banks will be closed on Thursday 20 February
Banks will be closed in Aizawl and Itanagar on the occasion of State Day on 20 February 2025. This day holds great importance for Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. Government offices, banks and many institutions will remain closed on this occasion. Cultural programs, parades and felicitation ceremonies are organized on State Day, where people celebrate the rich heritage of their state. However, net banking and digital services will continue to be available to customers.
List of bank holidays in February 2025 – State wise
Banks are closed on all national and local festivals, anniversaries, Sundays, second Saturdays and fourth Saturdays of every month. All bank branches are open on the first, third and fifth Saturdays. Banks will remain closed for 14 days in the month of February. This is given in the list of RBI. However, these 14 holidays do not fall simultaneously in all banks.

Wednesday, February 19: Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Mumbai, and Nagpur on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.
Thursday, February 20: Banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Itanagar on the occasion of State Day.
Wednesday, February 26: Banks will be closed on the occasion of Mahashivratri in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram.
Bank weekend holidays (Saturday and Sunday)
Sunday, February 16: Weekly holiday.
Saturday-Sunday, February 22 and 23: Fourth Saturday and weekly holiday.
