GST money is not refunded

When you cancel a ticket, you are not refunded the reservation charge and GST money. On cancelling the ticket, the cancellation charge is deducted from the base price of the ticket and the remaining amount is refunded. Let us tell you that Indian Railways also charges a cancellation charge of Rs 180 on third class AC tickets. A cancellation charge of Rs 120 is charged on cancelling a sleeper class ticket and Rs 60 on cancelling a general class ticket.
