Gurcharan Singh played the role of Roshan Sodhi in TV’s most popular sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, but he quit the show a few years back. The reason, however, could not be revealed, but the makers had given Balwinder Singh his place. During a recent interview, Gurcharan Singh told the reason for quitting the show. Also told whether the makers gave their final dues completely or not.
Why did Gurucharan quit the show?
Let us tell you that in the year 2013, Gurcharan Singh had quit the show, but in view of the demand of the audience, he was again made a part of the show. In the year 2020, he finally called the show goodbye. In the show, he played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi, who also has a garage for his car. Samay became Shah’s onscreen father and Jennifer Mistry’s husband.
After quitting the show, Gurcharan Singh did not make a comeback from any show. Nor did he play a cameo in any show. He completely disappeared. Now the actor has given the real reason for leaving the show. The actor said, “Look, my father had to undergo surgery at that time, due to which I quit the show. There were other things that I had to see and move on in life. And there were many reasons to quit the show. K, but I don’t want to talk about them.”
It is known that when Gurcharan Singh had quit the show, there were reports that he has taken this step due to money. His payments were not being done on time, so when this question was asked, Gurucharan told E-Times that we like to move forward with love. Along with this, the makers refused to say anything on whether their dues were completed or not. Recently, Gurcharan Singh once again came into the limelight, when he shared a photo with Ghanshyam Nayak.
