Toll Tax Hike: Preparations are underway to implement new toll rates on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Every year, the Siwaya toll general manager on the Delhi-Dehradun highway sends a proposal to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) regarding the increase in toll rates. After getting permission from the NHAI, the new rates will be implemented at midnight on June 30. Siwaya toll maintenance officer Brijesh Singh has confirmed this.
Toll Tax Hike: Preparations are on to implement new toll rates on Delhi-Dehradun Highway from 12 midnight on June 30. Heavy vehicles will be tolled by Rs 5. Cars and local vehicles will be exempted from this increase.
Every year, a proposal is sent to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) by the Siwaya Toll General Manager located on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway regarding the increase in toll rates.
This time, due to inflation based on wholesale price index, a proposal has been sent to increase toll only on six and ten tyre trucks and buses. After getting permission from NHAI, the new rates will be implemented at midnight of 30th June. Siwaya Toll Maintenance Officer Brijesh Singh has confirmed this.
