Randeep Hooda is a fabulous actor who has devoted himself to his roles. Many people would remember his epic transformation, where he risked his own life to prepare for the role of Sarbjit. However, the movie did not get the attention it deserved.
Hooda has also appeared in Hollywood flick Extraction alongside Chris Hemsworth. Over the years, he has received critical fame for his versatile performances in many movies. Randeep Hooda has also signed two web series, which are scheduled to release later in 2022.
Hooda started his career with the film Monsoon Wedding in 2001. The film was successful and received positive word of mouth, but the actor had to wait for almost 4 years to get his second movie. He made his return to the big screen with D in 2005.
He again received praise from critics but still remained one of those talented actors who are underrated in Bollywood. Hooda worked in a few films between 2005-2009, but most of them were penned down by critics for sloppy storylines.
He made a comeback with the 2015 film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. After which, he starred in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and continued to gain praise for his work. His role in the 2014 film Highway was highly appreciated by everyone. He received various awards for this particular role.
His movie Sarbjit earned him global recognition. It was also premiered at the Cannes film festival. However, since then, he has struggled to find work in Bollywood. He worked in Radhe alongside Salman Khan, but the movie received negative reviews. Randeep Hooda is trying to make a change with the upcoming web series that he is going to star in. Whether his talent gets recognised or not, we will have to wait to find out.
