Traffic challan Rules: In Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, the traffic department is very strict about teenagers under the age of 18 driving vehicles. DCP Aarti Singh has ordered the traffic police to do checking in this regard and take action as per the rules. Now if a minor is found driving a vehicle, a challan of 25 thousand will be issued and the registration of the vehicle will be cancelled for 12 months.
Traffic challan Rules: Students driving without license as well as their parents will have to bear the brunt. Traffic police will take strict action against teenagers below 18 years of age driving vehicles. FIR will be registered against parents for driving without license. Along with cancelling the registration of the vehicle for 12 months, a fine of Rs 25,000 will be imposed.
Students are seen roaming on the roads of the city with scooty, bike and car without license. Till now the police did not take action against the students. On Saturday, DCP Aarti Singh ordered the traffic police to do checking in this regard and take action as per the rules.
Traffic department officials said that such students will also be banned from getting license till the age of 25 years. Officials have appealed to the parents not to encourage minors to drive. If any student is found without license on the road, action will be taken.
Campaign to check fitness of vehicles
A campaign was launched to check fitness of school vehicles. On Saturday, the West Zone in-charge checked fitness and permit of school vehicles on Bithoor Road. At the same time, children were made aware of traffic rules in Oxford Model Senior Secondary School in Yadav Market, Barra Bypass, Eastern Zone.
By running a campaign in Yashoda Nagar, fitness and permits of school vehicles were checked. Illegal encroachment was removed from Rawatpur Tiraha to Gol Chauraha, while vehicles parked in no parking areas in Phoolbagh and Mall Road were challaned.
