Delhi Traffic Challan: Delhi Police has announced to set up special evening courts to settle pending traffic challans. These courts will be set up in the district courts of Delhi from 5 pm to 7 pm from 20 December 2024. These special courts will be run in Dwarka Court, Karkardooma Court, Patiala House Court, Rohini Court, Rouse Avenue Court, Saket Court and Tis Hazari Court

Delhi Police has announced to set up special evening courts to settle pending traffic challans. These courts will be set up in the district courts of Delhi from 5 pm to 7 pm from 20 December 2024. These special courts will be run in Dwarka Court, Karkardooma Court, Patiala House Court, Rohini Court, Rouse Avenue Court, Saket Court and Tis Hazari Court. If you did not take advantage of the Lok Adalat set up on 14 December 2024, then this is your last chance to settle your pending traffic challan.

Special court to be held on Friday 20 December 2024

Delhi Traffic Police said on 16 December 2024 that special evening courts will be organized in the district courts of Delhi from 5 pm to 7 pm on all working days from 20 December 2024. The link to download the challan print is open from 16 December 2024. In these courts, cases of traffic challan pending from 31 December 2021 will be settled. This facility will be available to vehicles with registration numbers of all states. Provided, the challan has been issued by the Delhi Traffic Police.

General traffic challans will be heard

Lok Adalats will only hear cases of general traffic violations like not wearing seat belt, not wearing helmet or jumping red light, parking at wrong place. If your vehicle was not involved in any criminal activity or accident, your challan may be reduced or waived.

How to take an appointment in evening court?

  • Go to evening court portal.
  • Enter vehicle number and captcha.
  • Click on ‘Search’ button and view pending challans and notices.
  • Print the challan and present it in the court.
