Traffic Police Advisory: Entry of heavy vehicles banned in Delhi, police issued advisory

Gurugram Traffic Police has issued an advisory for the full dress rehearsal to be held on August 13 for the Independence Day celebrations. Due to this, entry of heavy vehicles into Delhi will be prohibited from 5 pm today, Monday. Along with this, 15 checkpoints will be set up in the city for security. This ban on entering the Delhi border will be applicable till 12 noon on Tuesday.

Traffic Police advisory: Heavy vehicles will be prohibited from entering Delhi from 5 pm on Monday due to rehearsals on Independence Day. Gurugram Traffic DCP Virendra Vij has issued an advisory regarding this. Along with this, 15 checkposts will also be set up in the city for security.

DCP Virendra Vij said that heavy goods vehicles will be prohibited from entering Delhi due to Independence Day. All heavy goods vehicles will not be able to enter the Delhi border from 5 pm on Monday to 12 noon on Tuesday.

Entry into Delhi border prohibited

After this, entry into Delhi border was also prohibited from 5 pm on Wednesday to 12 noon on Thursday. During this time, there will be no restriction on vehicles carrying essential goods like milk, fruits, vegetables, ambulances, fire brigade etc. while going towards Delhi.

There will be no restriction on passenger vehicles going to the airport from NH 48 to Delhi. Apart from this, there will be no restriction of any kind on vehicles going from Gurugram to other districts Palwal, Mewat, Faridabad, Jhajjar, Rewari and Rajasthan.

Entry of heavy goods vehicles into Delhi from National Highway 48 and other countries will be completely banned. At the same time, 240 policemen will be deployed at the checkpoints being set up in the city for checking.

Launch of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan

Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan started in the district from Sunday with the slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Tiranga Yatras were taken out in many villages including Bilaspur Kalan, Bastpur, Nanukla, Tikli, Sakatpur, Bhoda Khurd, Tajnagar, Makdola, Sadrana, Pataudi, Farukhnagar, Sohna, Samarthala, Neemoth by the Women and Child Development Department as well as the Panchayat and Development Department. Anganwadi workers, Panchayat representatives and women of self-help groups as well as local people participated in them enthusiastically. Slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Mataram, Jai Hind were raised.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Hitesh Kumar Meena says that the campaign will continue till August 14. Remembering the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country, people hoisted the tricolor flag. People took a pledge that all citizens will contribute as much as possible for the progress and prosperity of the nation to maintain the spirit of unity and brotherhood in the country.

In the district, programs of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan will be organized by the Education Department on August 12, Sports Department on August 13 and Police Department on August 14. Under the campaign, citizens hoisted the tricolor flag at their homes and shops. People can get the flags from their nearest ration depot.
