Traffic Challan: Many times such cases related to traffic police come to light which force us to think. One such case has come to light from Bihar. Actually, the e-challan system of traffic police in Supaul, Bihar has become a cause of trouble for the common people. A lower class clerk Mohammad Afroz Alam had to face difficulty in getting the pollution certificate of his bike, because an e-challan of Rs 1,01,000 was pending on his bike. Afroz told that on August 4, when he was riding his bike without a helmet, the traffic police took his photo at Degree College Chowk and issued a challan of one thousand rupees.

According to a local newspaper, Afroz was shocked when he received a message of a challan of Rs 1,01,000 on his mobile. Afroz immediately lodged a complaint at the traffic police station, but the challan was not corrected till he got the information. It is being told that this challan has been issued by SI Krishnabali Singh of the traffic police station. In this, a fine of Rs 1000 has been imposed for riding a bike without a helmet, while a total fine of Rs 100,000 has been imposed under different sections of the Transport Act.

Farooq told that he bought his bike in 2014 for about 65 thousand rupees. In such a situation, a challan of Rs 1,01,000 is a big shock for him. District Transport Officer Shashi Shekharam called it a human error. He said that the challan is entered by a human and not by a computer. The person who entered the challan may have made a mistake. The section of violation is also written in the challan, the amount is written in the challan according to that. If a fine is imposed more than the provision of transport rules, then it can also be corrected later.

Challan even if helmet’s strip is not attached

Not wearing helmet was already included in breaking the rules, but now not wearing helmet properly has also been included in the traffic rules. Not only this, traffic police is also issuing challan of 1000 to 2000 rupees for this. It is very important to wear helmet before driving a two-wheeler or sitting on it. In such a situation, whenever you wear a helmet, keep in mind that it is fixed properly on your head. Do not forget to attach the strip after wearing the helmet. Many times people use helmets just to avoid challan. They do not attach the strip. Not only this, many people’s helmets do not have a lock for the strip. Or it is broken. In all these situations, you can be challaned.
