- Under Section 181, a fine of Rs 5000 will have to be paid for operating a vehicle without a license.

- Under Section 1921A, now a fine of up to Rs 10,000 will have to be paid for operating a vehicle without a permit.
- Under Section 193, there is a provision for fine of Rs 25,000 to 1 lakh for breaking license rules.
- Under section 194, there is a provision for overloading (for goods exceeding the prescribed limit) of Rs 2000 and additional Rs 1000 per tonne and Rs 2000 extra per tonne.
- Under section 194A, now overloading (if there are more passengers than capacity) Rs 1000 per extra passenger
- Under section 194B, no penalty of Rs. 1000 will be imposed on the seat belt.
