Traffic Rules: New traffic rules are being implemented from September 1, bike and scooter riders be careful!

Leave alone the pillion riders, even the two-wheeler riders themselves ride without helmets. Actually, a new rule is going to be implemented in Visakhapatnam, a big city of Andhra Pradesh. Under this new rule, now the person driving a two-wheeler and the pillion rider will have to wear a helmet at all times.

New rule implemented from September 1

After the order of the High Court, now the pillion riders will have to wear a helmet from September 1 in Visakhapatnam. The government has implemented this new rule so that the increasing road accidents in the city can be controlled. This decision has been taken in view of this. Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner Shankhabrata Bagchi and District Collector, District Road Safety Committee Chairman Harendheera Prasad, while holding a meeting recently, said that if you do not follow these rules, you may have to face troubles.

According to Visakhapatnam Police, if anyone does not follow this rule, a challan of Rs 1035 will be issued. Not only this, the license of those who break the rule can also be suspended for three months. Instructions were also given regarding the quality of helmets. Only ISI marked helmets should be worn, if anyone wears a poor quality helmet, action will be taken against him.
