Vodafone’s download speed in April was seven Mbps. After this the download speeds of Idea and Bharti Airtel were 5.8 and five Mbps respectively.

According to the latest data from the telecom regulator Trai, Reliance Jio topped the list of 4G speeds with a data download speed of 20.1 megabits per second (Mbps) in April, while Vodafone upload with an upload speed of 6.7 Mbps. Speed was at the forefront. Jio had three times more download speed than its nearest rival Vodafone. Although Vodafone and Idea Cellularor have merged their mobile business into Vodafone Idea Limited, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) releases separate data on network speeds for both units.
According to new data put out by TRAI on May 11, Vodafone’s download speed in April was seven Mbps. After this the download speeds of Idea and Bharti Airtel were 5.8 and five Mbps respectively. Vodafone was first in the upload category with 6.7 Mbps speed, Idea with 6.1 Mbps second, Jio third with 4.2 Mbps and Airtel fourth with 3.9 Mbps speed.
The download speed helps the consumers to get the content from the internet while the upload speed helps them to send or share photos or videos to their contacts. TRAI calculates average speeds based on real-time data collected from across the country with the help of its MySpeed application.
