In view of the train accident, Indian Railways has canceled many trains. Along with this, many trains have been diverted or their time tables have been changed.
Many trains were canceled
Due to the train accident, the movement of trains between Kantakapalle-Almanada stations of Waltair division of East Coast Railway has been affected. South Central Railway has announced that Secunderabad-Manmad (17064), Manmad-Secunderabad (17063), Visakhapatnam-Tirupati (08583) and Tirupati-Visakhapatnam (08584) have been cancelled. Trains Chennai Central-Puri (22860) and Rayagada-Guntur (17244) running on October 30 have been cancelled.
Many trains canceled on 31st October also
Train Visakhapatnam-Guntur (17240) running on October 31 has also been cancelled. Other canceled trains include Visakhapatnam-Koraput (18512), Koraput-Visakhapatnam (18511), Visakhapatnam-Palasa (08532), Palasa-Visakhapatnam (08531), Visakhapatnam-Rayagada (08504), Rayagada-Visakhapatnam (08503), Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram ( 07468), Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam (07469).
These trains were diverted
Officials said that H.S.Nanded Sambalpur (20810), Tirupati Puri (1748031), MGR Chennai Central-Puri Express (22860), Rayagada-Guntur (17244), Visakhapatnam-Guntur Express (17240) Vasco da Gama-Shalimar (18048) has also been cancelled. Hyderabad-Shalimar (18046) and Chennai-Central-Shalimar (12842) have been diverted to run via Vijayawada, Balharshah, Chanda Kila, Raipur, Jharsuguda and Kharagpur.
Changes made in timings of many trains
The trains that have been diverted are Chennai-Central-Santragachhi (22808), Trivandrum- Shalimar (22641), Agartala-SMVT (12504), Shalimar Hyderabad (18045), Santragachhi-Tirupati (22855), Shalimar-Chennai Central ( 12841), Dhanbad-Alappuzha (13351) and Hatia-SMVT Bengaluru (12835) MGR Chennai – Central-Shalimar Coromandel Express scheduled to depart from MGR Chennai Central at 7 am on 30th October has been rescheduled to depart at 9.30 am. Similarly, Alappuzha-Dhanbad Bokaro Express departed at 9 am on October 30, three hours behind schedule.
