Traffic on the route has been disrupted following a collision between two goods trains at Bankura under the Kharagpur-Adra rail division of South Eastern Railways. According to the information, another moving goods train hit the empty goods train near Adra railway station. Due to which many coaches got derailed. Many trains have been canceled after this accident. According to railway officials, both the goods trains were empty. It is not yet clear how the two collided with each other.

Many trains of Adra Rail Division have been affected after the goods train accident. The work of clearing the route is being done by the Railways. However, as a precautionary measure, the Railways has canceled many trains on this route. While some trains have been diverted.

Canceled Trains List

Under this division, 4 districts of West Bengal, including West Midnapore, Bankura, Purulia and Burdwan, while 03 districts of Jharkhand come, including Dhanbad, Bokaro and Singhbhum.

According to the information, Purulia Howrah Express has been canceled today after this accident. At the same time, Porbandar Santragachi Express is being sent from Purulia station via Chandil Tatanagar.

Please tell that this incident happened in Bankura, West Bengal at 4 am today (Sunday). Fortunately, both the goods trains were empty. Efforts are being made by the Railways to open the line for trains.
