A new player has entered the electric vehicle segment in India. An Indian automotive startup named Evtric Motors on Monday launched two new electric scooters in the country, namely Evtric Axis and Evtric Ride. Their starting price in India is less than 65 thousand rupees. Both the electric scooters come with swappable lithium-ion battery options, which means you can buy additional battery packs and swap them out to drive the scooter. Both the electric scooters come equipped with largely the same power and range. However, there are minor differences in its design and some other features.

Evtric Axis and Evtric Ride are similar. However, both the electric scooters are different from each other in appearance. The dimensions of the Axis are smaller, while the design of the Ride matches the traditional scooter. In terms of power, both the scooters come equipped with a 250W power motor, which helps them to reach a maximum speed of 25 kmph.




Their battery is also the same. Both scooters get a 48v/26AH swappable lithium-ion battery pack, which takes around 3.5 hours to fully charge. On full charge, this electric scooter can run up to 75 km. The payload capacity of both the scooters is 150 kg. They get disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear and also come equipped with telescopic suspension. Both the scooters get a digital display, in which apart from the speedometer, many more information is available.
