UAE Residential Permit: As soon as we hear the name of UAE, images of Dubai’s tall buildings, beautiful beaches and Burj Khalifa start appearing in front of us. It is everyone’s dream to live in this country because the wide roads and expensive cars running on them attract everyone. Now the UAE government is going to give a 10-year permit to live in the country. So let us tell you who can live there and what are the conditions for this.

Launch of Blue Visa System

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched the first phase of the Blue Visa System. In this, people who contribute to the improvement of the environment will be given a residential visa for 10 years. The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, in collaboration with the Federal Authority, has announced this during the World Government Summit 2025 to be held in Dubai from 11 to 13 February.

Who will get the visa

In the first phase, 20 such people will be given blue visas who are working for sustainability. This visa targets those individuals who have made significant contributions to environmental protection. These include members of international organizations, non-governmental groups, corporate leaders, global award winners and researchers. For this, an online application has to be submitted.

How to apply

You have to apply online for the Blue Visa. Eligible individuals can apply through ICP or be nominated by UAE authorities. The Blue Visa expands the UAE’s existing residential programs, such as the Golden and Green Visas.

UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak told the Emirates News Agency WAM that the initiative aims to achieve ambitious national goals and leverage their contribution to building a sustainable future for the people of the UAE and the world.
