UGC-NET 2024: National Testing Agency NTA has released the re-examination schedule of UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam will be conducted in CBT mode in two shifts from 21 August to 4 September. For your information, let us tell you that the first shift will run from 9 -12 pm while the second shift will run from 3-6 pm. Subject wise time table has been kept.
Apart from this, NTA also informed that the notification regarding the information of the city of the examination center will be displayed on the official website of the agency ugcnet.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in 10 days before the examination.
Let us tell you that on June 18, NTA had issued a press release stating that it has successfully conducted the UGC NET June examination for 9.08 lakh candidates. However, a day later the Ministry of Education informed that it had received such information that the sanctity of the examination has been compromised and the examination has been canceled.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had also said that the question paper of the exam was leaked on the darknet. It is worth noting that till last time NTA used to conduct UGC NET exam in CBT mode for Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and PhD admission. However, the agency had announced earlier this year that the June exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode and in a single day.
For your information, let us tell you that UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year for Junior Professor Fellowship and Assistant Professor in universities and other educational institutions across the country. From this time onwards, it is necessary to score in UGC NET as an entrance to PhD as well.
