UGC NET Exam Schedule: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the subject-wise schedule of the UGC NET exam for the December session. It is important information for all the candidates appearing for this exam across the country that they can get complete information about the exam schedule by visiting the official website of NTA ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
UGC NET exam is conducted for JRF Fellowship, Assistant Professor and PhD admission. This year UGC NET exam will be conducted in 85 subjects. The exam will start from January 03, 2025 and the last exam will be completed on January 16, 2025. To appear in this exam, candidates will now have to visit the official website and check the exam dates for their respective subject.

The notice issued by the NTA states that this exam will be conducted for (i) award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD’ and (iii) ‘Admission to PhD only. This exam will be in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and candidates will be tested at many examination centers across the country.
