UGC NET Exam, NTA UGC NET New Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the new datesheet of the exam postponed on January 15. This exam of UGC-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2024 will now be conducted on 21 and 27 January 2025. According to the official notification issued by NTA, the admit cards for this exam will be issued soon. Earlier this exam was to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on January 15, but it was postponed. After that now a new datesheet has been released. A large number of candidates were waiting for it. This exam of UGC-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2024 was postponed on January 14 due to Makar Sankranti and Pongal. Now this exam will now be held on 21 and 27 January 2025.
The exam on 15 January 2025 was postponed due to Pongal and Makar Sankranti festivals, while the exams to be held on 16 January will be conducted as per the scheduled schedule. Therefore, the candidates who have to appear for the exam on 16 January should appear for the exam as per the pre-scheduled schedule.
UGC NET Exam Schedule: When will the exam be held?
UGC-NET 2024 exam is being conducted for 85 subjects at various centers across the country. This exam is being conducted in OMR (pen and paper) mode. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
UGC NET Exam Paper: There are two papers in UGC NET
There are two papers in the UGC NET exam. The first paper consists of 50 questions, which is of a total of 100 marks. It contains questions of general skills like reasoning etc. Whereas, the second paper is based on the subject chosen by the candidate, which has 100 questions and is of 200 marks.
