A recent tweet from Aadhaar said, “Any Aadhaar is verifiable online/offline. To verify offline, scan the QR code on #Aadhaar. To verify online, enter the 12-digit Aadhaar on the link: resident.uidai.gov.in/verify. You can also do it using the #mAadhaar app.”
In order to verify offline, one simply has to scan the QR code on the e-Aadhaar or Aadhaar letter or PVC card. Again, in order to verify Aadhaar online, one has to follow some simple steps. They are as follows:
Step 1: One has to login to resident.uidai.gov.in/verify
Step 2: Now, one has to enter the Aadhaar number in the space provided
Step 3: After entering the Aadhaar number, one has to enter the captcha for verification
Step 4: Finally, one has to click on the option ‘Proceed to verify’
One can also enter the 12-digit number on the mAadhaar app for verification.
An Aadhaar user must note that there are several features of the mAadhaar app. Furthermore, The mAadhaar app can be used anywhere anytime within India. mAadhaar is more than Aadhaar card in a wallet.
