UIDAI Latest Update: Want to download Aadhar Card without registered number, follow this easy method

Now you can download your Aadhar card from the official website of UIDAI even without registered mobile number.


The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), which issues Aadhaar, has made this announcement to help those who have not registered their mobile number. Let us tell you that earlier users needed a registered mobile number linked to Aadhaar to download it. You can download aadhar card online like this..

  • First of all go to the official website of UIDAI and tap on ‘My Aadhaar’.
  • Then you have to click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’.
  • After this, you will be asked to enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number. If you want, you can also enter a 16-digit Virtual Identification Number (VID) instead of the Aadhaar number.
  • Once it completes the process, you will be asked to enter the security or captcha code.
  • Now if want to download the card without registered mobile number, then click on the option ‘My mobile number is not registered’.
  • After this you have to enter your alternate number or unregistered mobile number.
  • Now click on ‘Send OTP’ and after that you will get One Time Password (OTP) on the alternate number entered by you.
  • Then the user will also be asked to click on the ‘Terms and Conditions’ checkbox and then finally click on ‘Submit’.
  • Now you will be redirected to a new page.
  • You will get the option of Preview Aadhaar letter here for verification of reprinting.
  • After this you have to choose the option of ‘Make Payment’.

Note: You should keep your digital signature ready, as you will need to submit it in order to download the PDF. Finally a service request number will also be generated through SMS. You can use that number to track the status of the application till you get the Aadhar card.
