1. For this, first you have to go to the official portal of EPFO. Its address is https://epfindia.gov.in/site_en/.
2. After opening this portal, you have to click on a category called our services.
3. After clicking on our services, the option of For Employees will have to be selected.
4. In the next step, you have to click on Member UAN / online services.
5. After this you will be redirected to the UAN portal. Here you have to enter the mobile number and PF member I.
6. Then click on Get authorization PIN.
7. For the next step, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, enter it in the empty space provided to the OTP.
8. Then click on Validate OTP. After this, your UAN will be activated.
9. Once the UAN is activated, your work will become easier. Through UAN, you can avail the facility of online PF transfer, balance check and withdrawal. All the old and new accounts of the EOFO Subscriber appear in this UAN.
PF account information will also be available through SMS and missed calls
EPFO has introduced many types of services to provide subscribers with PF account information. PF account information can also be obtained through phone. For this, only one missed call has to be given on 011 229 01 406. For this, you have to keep in mind that only missed calls are made from the mobile number registered in the EPFO. To receive PF account information through SMS, you can send ‘EPFOHO UAN’ to 7738299899. With the help of this feature, the user can get this information in 10 languages.
