University Exam 2021: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday directed the officials that a decision on the examinations of higher education and technical education should be taken soon. The Chief Minister said this later in the meeting of Team-9 in which senior officers were present.
He said that the concerned departments should discuss the matter with the universities and take a proper decision regarding the sure examinations. He also said that such a system should be made which is always in the interest of the students.
Earlier on May 13, the state government had constituted a committee of three vice-chancellors to suggest measures on how to promote students in the next semester. This arrangement will be for all universities and degree colleges. According to an official, it is difficult to conduct physical examinations in the current situation of Corona, so the government had formed a committee to promote the students.
The committee formed to suggest the examinations included VC of Lucknow University Alok Kumar Rai, AKTU professor Vinay Kumar Rai and Bareilly University VC Prof Krishna Pal Singh. On May 20, the committee submitted its report to Additional Chief Secretary (Higher Education) Monika S Garg.
