Unreserved Train Tickets: With the decrease in the number of corona cases across the country, the Railways is restoring the facility for passengers to travel on unreserved tickets from November 8. Now reservation will not have to be made to travel in general coaches. After the corona infection, it became mandatory for the passengers to make a reservation in the general coach as well. The reason for this is to control the crowd to stop the pace of Corona, but now after the infection has reduced and the vaccination campaign going on across the country, the Railways has decided to start this facility again for the passengers.
Jabalpur Railway Division has given facility in these trains
Jabalpur Railway Division has allowed travel without reservation in general coaches of Vindhyachal Express, Intercity and Shuttle running within its limits. From November 8, this relief is being given in half a dozen passenger trains of Jabalpur Railway Division. In this episode, two general class coaches of Jabalpur-Rewa shuttle train D9 and D10 along with parcel vehicle will also be given entry on unreserved general class ticket. Apart from this, there will be no restriction on traveling in general coaches in Rewa Intercity Intercity running between Jabalpur to Habibganj.
Railway takes steps to give relief to passengers
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vishwaranjan said that now unreserved passengers will be able to travel from Itarsi to Prayagraj in passenger train 01117. Vindhyachal train 01271/72 running between Itarsi to Bhopal via Jabalpur, Katni, Damoh, Sagar route and Bhopal to Damoh train 01161/62 will also have two coaches D 10,11 unreserved for general class passengers. Actually, the railway administration has taken this step to give relief to the passengers.
