The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has opened the treasury for all parts of society in the last budget of its tenure (UP Budget 2021). In this budget of the Yogi government, big plans and reliefs have been announced for farmers, women, laborers, students and industry. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented the 5th and full budget of the government 2021-22 in the assembly on Monday. The total budget of this session is 5 lakh 50 thousand 270 crore.

1. Swachh Bharat Mission:
A budget of Rs 2031 crore was given for the construction of 12 lakh 13 thousand individual toilets for rural areas and 98 thousand community toilets.
Budget of Rs 1400 crore for urban areas, provision of Rs 175 crore for urban sewerage and drainage system
2. Road
1107 crore budget for Purvanchal Expressway project.
Budget of Rs 1492 crore for Bundelkhand Expressway project.
Gorakhpur Link Express- A budget of 860 crores for the project.

Acquisition of Ganga Expressway project and Rs 489 crore for construction work – Budget of Rs 12,441 crore for construction of roads and bridges under Public Works Department for the financial year 2021-2022.

3. Farmer

A budget of Rs 1137 crore for the Central Ganga Canal Project, Rs 976 crore for the Rajghat Canal Project, Rs 610 crore for the Saryu Canal Project, Rs 271 crore for the Eastern Ganga Canal Project and Rs 104 crore for the Ken Betwa Link Canal Project.
150 crore budget for advance storage of chemical fertilizers. To provide loans to farmers at concessional rates from NABARD, a budget provision of Rs. 400 crores proposed under the interest subsidy scheme. Proposal for budget provision of Rs 10 crore for integrated cooperative development scheme.
From the financial year 2021-22, self-reliant Farmers Equivalent Development Scheme will be implemented. The farmers of the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana will also get the benefit of the Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme.
4. Industry and Employment
– A provision of Rs. 250 crore for ‘One District – One – Product’ (ODOP) scheme in the state. Decision to revive the assets of closed spinning mills of UP State Spinning Company and establish industrial parks / locations / clusters in PPP mode. For this, a provision of 100 crores proposed.
100 crore budget for the Chief Minister’s Youth Self-Employment Scheme. Budget provision of Rs. 30 crore proposed for Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana for traditional artisans of urban and rural areas.
Under the Chief Minister Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana, interest free loan up to Rs. 10 lakh to the general women and reserved category beneficiaries and arrangement to provide loans through banks at 4 percent annual interest to the male beneficiaries of the general category. A provision of Rs 10 crore is proposed in the budget to preserve / promote the art and artisans of Matikala.
– Target to generate 25,000 jobs in the field of textiles in the financial year 2021-2022.

5. Laborer
A new scheme “Mukhyamantri Pravasi Shramik Entrepreneurship Development Scheme” is being launched to provide employment and self-employment to the workers and workers of the state who have come back from different states. Budget provision of 100 crores proposed for this scheme.
Mukhyamantri Accident Insurance Scheme for the purpose of providing social security to the palladars, labor families and workers in the unorganized sector. For this, a budget provision of 12 crores was proposed.

10. Electricity
Billing through probes while improving the billing system. During the last 3 years, about 1 crore 24 lakh new power connections in the state, 75 districts have been saturated as per the target. Giving priority to rural areas, electrification of 01 crore 21 lakh 32 thousand majors and a total of 01 crore 38 lakh 01 thousand power connections were distributed. Under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (Naveen), 100 percent target of electrification of 100 MP Adarsh villages has been completed.
