In Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, a case of beating in the middle of the market of a UP Police inspector has come to light. This inspector was suspended in the past for slapping a local worker of a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). On Friday, three bike riders attacked the inspector from behind near Jhalu Bazar. All three thrashed the inspector with sticks and then fled from the spot.
According to the eyewitnesses, all three had beaten the inspector to the ground by beating him with sticks. The local people somehow made noise and drove the three miscreants away. This case is related to Jhanda Chowk in the town Jhalu of Haldaur area. Inspector Arun Kumar lives in a rented house nearby. Arun had left for the household items around 8 pm on Friday. During this, he was attacked. On getting information about the attack, SP City Praveen Singh Ranjan and CO City Kuldeep Gupta reached the spot along with the police force. Police have started searching for the attackers. SP City said that investigation is being done and CCTV footage is being scanned.

After this, BJP and RSS workers under the leadership of former MP Bharatendra Singh met the SP and CO. After this, the SP had suspended Inspector Arun Kumar.
