Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (Yogi Adityanath) has taken a big initiative to connect farmers with credit cards. CM Yogi has instructed all the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) in the state to give a Kisan Credit Card (Kisan Credit Card) by campaigning till 15 April.
Farmers with small holdings will also get credit card
According to the official statement released on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to make credit cards of farmers with small holdings of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana. According to the statement, Kisan Credit Card could not be given to all the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana due to the Corona crisis, taking the cognizance of which now the farmers’ credit card is being made by running a campaign in every village.
In this regard, the Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture) has issued letters to all the District Magistrates, Chief Development Officers and Deputy Directors of Agriculture, in which they have done 100 percent verification of all the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana by the employees of the Agriculture Department, all the interested beneficiaries Instructions have been given to make a farmer credit card of Rs.
What is Kisan Credit Card? The
central government is running several schemes for farmers. Among these, there is an excellent scheme Kisan Credit Card, in which loans are provided for agriculture work at a cheap interest rate. Under the scheme, any farmer can get a farmer credit card very easily by reaching the nearest bank branch.
Kisan Credit Card will be available within 15 days of application
Understanding the problems of farmers, the government has issued a very simple form for KCC application. After filling it, they will get their Kisan Credit Card in just 15 days. Explain that under KCC, loans up to 3 lakh rupees are available only at 7 percent interest. Not only this, the farmers who return the money on time also get a rebate of 3 percent. In other words, the farmers who repay the loan on time are getting only 4 percent interest rate.
