All the candidates have geared up for the UP Panchayat Chunav elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. However, there are candidates waiting for the new reservation list (Panchayat Chunav reservation list), which has received the latest update. Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Parliamentary and Rural Development Anand Swaroop Shukla has said that the reservation status for the three-tier panchayat elections will be clear by February 15.
During a conversation with journalists at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district office in Sultanpur, the state minister said that the BJP panchayat elections will not be contested on the party’s election symbol but the party’s supported candidates will be in the election ground.
In response to a question, Anand Swaroop Shukla said that no discussion is going on to amend the Panchayat Election Act. For rural development, the government is primarily giving priority to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural, Chief Minister Housing Scheme, MNREGA and State Rural Livelihoods Mission.
Shukla said that these four schemes have emerged as Sanjeevani during the Corona period and in the last three and a half years, 14 lakh 61 thousand Prime Minister houses have been built in the state. He informed that three lakh 94 thousand self-help groups have been formed under the State Livelihood Mission.
Voter List: Here, the voter list has been released in Uttar Pradesh regarding the voting for the village government. This time around 12 crore 28 lakh voters will select their candidates. For the three-tier panchayat elections to be held in the state this time, the State Election Commission has done the work of releasing the voter list data. If we look at this new voter list of panchayats, then a total of 12 crore 27 lakh 99 thousand 686 voters are seen in it.
