Preparations are in full swing in UP for the panchayat elections. In all the districts, the administration insists that before the election date, a chalk-up system of security should be made. The focus of the authorities is to ensure that there is no obstruction in the election. In Prayagraj mandal, the district administration has asked the development officials for the route map of the gram panchayat-wise polling stations. This is so that the employees who are sent on duty at the time of election do not face any problem. The staff easily reaches the booth. BDO has sought reports from all ADO Panchayats.
If you have missed registering in the electoral rolls of the panchayat or have to make amends, now you have to go to your tehsil. A board is being built in all the five tehsils of the capital. Also, after submitting the application, the villager will also get an acknowledgment.
Many villagers have still missed registering in the panchayat’s voter list. They have a large number of young voters. Such villagers now have to go to their respective tehsils if they have to enroll in the voter list, have to be cut or have any amendment. Subdila Election Officer Vipin Kumar Mishra says that a desk has been set up in the tehsil to take applications from such people. Here the Assistant Registrar Kanungo will have to apply on a fixed format. Applications will be taken till the notification is issued.

along with the name, address of those applying for the voter list in the tehsil will be entered in the register. Who will apply with this information? Along with this, acknowledgment of application will also be made available to the applicant. The name will be added, removed or modified only after the BLO is examined.
