The public interest litigation filed by the High Court regarding the UP Police recruitment case will be heard today. The Supreme Court has directed all the High Courts of the country to hear the matter of delay in the recruitment of police and armed forces in the state by setting up a public interest litigation as law and order and administrative problems are arising due to delay in recruitment.
Additional Advocate General Manish Goel informed the court about this petition. On which the division bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Piyush Agrawal directed to present the PIL for hearing on October 20.
In compliance with the order of the Supreme Court, a division bench of Acting Chief Justice MN Bhandari and Justice Piyush Agrawal had filed a public interest litigation seeking a response from the state government by October 19. Also asked whether the police recruitment process is going on in the state or not and if it is going on then at what stage it is. In such a situation, the Yogi government can tell about the state of UP Police recruitment process today.
