According to the estimates, the districts that are likely to receive heavy rains till noon on Thursday 20 May are – Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Noida, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahar, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad Sambhal, Sitapur and Hardoi. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in many districts of the state from the afternoon of Thursday 20 May to Friday 21 May. Along with the rain in these districts, thunderstorm can also move at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour.

Weather is expected to open from May 22


According to the estimates so far, even though the mood of the weather will be disturbed for the next 24 hours, the weather is likely to open in the entire state from 22 May. Light changes may occur in some districts, but the weather will be clear in other districts. Due to incessant rains, day temperatures have been reduced by up to 10 degree Celsius in almost all the districts of the state. There has also been a significant drop in night temperature.
