Upasana said in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama- Me and Kapil are still good friends. I have told Kapil to call me only when there is a good role for me. Upasana told that she got a good fee for working in The Kapil Sharma Show but she was not happy with her role in the show.
What did you talk to Kapil on the role?
Upasana says – Money is necessary in everyone’s life but only up to a point. After that you want satisfaction from your work. It becomes more important. When I started, I used to like to take work for money. But now I don’t think so. Now I want to take only those roles which give me satisfaction. The same thing I tell my producers to give me such roles which only I can do.
“If anyone can do the role that has been offered to me, then I am not even interested in the money I get from it. I was doing Kapil’s show, for two years the show was on top. But then there came a time when I realized that there was not much left for me to do. I was being paid a good fee. But I told Kapil to either give me the role that I did in the beginning or let me go. Even today when I talk to Kapil, the only thing I say is to call me back only when I have something fun to do.
