UPI New Service: Payment will be done without PIN through Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, this UPI feature is very useful

Now you will not need a PIN or password to make UPI payments through Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm. NPCI had launched UPI Lite service some time ago. New rules have come into effect for this from November 1. Now users will get more limit in making payments than before.

UPI New Feature: New rules have come into effect from November 1 for UPI through Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm. NPCI has increased the transaction limit for UPI Lite. Also, the facility of auto top-up for the wallet has been started. The special thing about UPI Lite is that through this you will be able to make UPI payments even without PIN and password. UPI payment is known as the most preferred payment for Indian users. Last year, India made a new record in making UPI payments.

What is UPI Lite?

You can keep a maximum of Rs 2,000 in the UPI Lite wallet and you can transact up to Rs 500 at a time. NPCI has specially launched this service for those people who use UPI even for small payments. You can fill money in UPI Lite wallet from your bank account for small payments. After the balance of the first UPI Lite wallet is exhausted, it can be recharged manually. NPCI has rolled out the auto top-up feature in it from November 1.

As soon as the balance of your UPI Lite account gets low, it will be automatically topped up from your bank account. However, the government has put another limit for UPI Lite, in which users can top-up their account a maximum of 5 times a day, that is, they will be able to top-up only Rs 10,000 in total.

How to enable UPI Lite?

It is very easy to enable UPI Lite in payment apps like Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm. For this, you have to open these apps and tap on the icon with your profile picture. As soon as you tap on the icon with the profile picture, you will see the option of PIN free UPI Lite below. After this, follow the instructions given on the phone screen and activate the UPI Lite service.
