You can also do it from Flipkart’s app. Electricity and mobile prepaid recharge have already been added to it. Now other options have also been added to it. Flipkart has joined hands with Bill Desk for this.
Talking about Bill Desk, it is India’s leading payment solution company which is bringing new services in collaboration with Bharat Bill Payment System. It has been established by the National Payment Corporation of India. Now a scheme has also been brought for new users and users can get up to 10 percent discount by using it. For this they have to use Flipkart UPI. After the arrival of these new categories, users can enjoy the facility of bill and recharge.
In the financial year 2024, Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) had 1.3 billion transactions. These transactions were done in India. This figure is expected to be 3 billion in the year 2026. This will be achieved with the help of more than 21 thousand active bills and more than 20 bill categories. Now up to 70 percent of bill payments are done electronically. After the arrival of the new category, it is going to be easier to achieve it. This is the reason why a new category is being introduced by Flipkart.
