With the order of the High Court to hold the panchayat elections by April 30, now the hope of declaring the UP Board exam time table has also been tied. More than 56 lakh students registered for high school and intermediate exams are expected to appear in May. Board Secretary Divyankant Shukla gave the time to conduct the board examination in March or April in the academic almanac issued on August 13. But in the changed circumstances, there is a strong possibility of conducting 10th and 12th examinations in May itself.
Till now the state government was not able to fix the exam date due to the situation of the panchayat elections not being clear because a large number of teachers are engaged in both elections and examinations. This is the reason why the two cannot be made together. The exam time table could not be prepared. After the High Court order, now the UP board officers are waiting for the order of the government. After getting the instruction of the government, the time table of the board examination will be prepared and sent for approval.
Estimates of the result before CBSE
CBSE has released the time table for conducting board examination from May 4. CBSE 10th exam will run from May 4 to June 7 and class 12th examination will run from May 4 to June 11. The UP board examinations are now being held in just 15 days. It also takes 15 days to check the copy. Therefore, even though the UP board has lagged behind in issuing the time table, CBSE is expected to be ahead in declaring the result.
