Allahabad High Court will hear the matter of police recruitment on October 20. The Supreme Court has directed all the High Courts of the country to hear the matter of delay in the recruitment of police and armed forces as the delay in recruitment is causing law and order and administrative problems.
Additional Advocate General Manish Goel informed the High Court about this petition. On this, a division bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Piyush Agrawal directed to place the PIL for hearing on October 20.
It is to be known that in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court, a division bench of Acting Chief Justice MN Bhandari and Justice Piyush Agrawal had filed a public interest litigation and sought a response from the state government by October 19.
